Cardiovascular Disease and Metabolic Disorders
Researchers at UH are focused on basic and applied studies to identify mechanisms regulating renal, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders such as diabetes and hypertension, and therapeutic approaches to alleviate these disorders. The complex nature of these disorders benefits from the multidisciplinary makeup of our researchers.
