Tasneem Bawa-Khalfe's research focuses on restoring the cellular proteome with the discovery/design of drugs that target the ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like post-translational modification (PTM) systems, including SUMO-PTM. Her team has identified and targeted vulnerable pathways in multiple cancers including endocrine resistant breast cancer.
