2026 Annual Symposium
The DDI/CNRCS Annual Symposium is a comprehensive, day-long event dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in drug discovery and immunotherapy. Organized by the UH Drug Discovery Institute (DDI) and Center of Nuclear Receptor and Cell Signaling (CNRCS), this symposium gathers distinguished researchers and trainees to present groundbreaking research and promote collaboration in the field of biomedical science.
Call for Abstracts
Faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates from UH and other Texas Medical Center institutions are invited to submit abstracts for the upcoming poster session showcasing research in therapeutic discovery and development for human diseases. This is an excellent opportunity to share your work, engage with peers, and contribute to the growing body of research on innovative approaches in drug discovery and immunotherapy.
The program will open with a keynote address from Dr. Patrick Hwu, President and CEO of Moffitt Cancer Center. Throughout the day, faculty from UH and other Texas Medical Center institutions will deliver research presentations, offering new perspectives on the development of immunotherapy and targeted drugs for chronic human diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and neurodegenerative diseases. Selected abstracts submitted by trainees will also be featured in a rapid-fire presentation session.
Two interactive poster sessions will provide opportunities for networking and in-depth discussions.
The event will conclude with an awards ceremony and networking reception, providing attendees with opportunities to connect with peers and discuss potential future collaborations.
