Call for Abstracts
The UH Drug Discovery Institute invites faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates from UH and other Texas Medical Center institutions to submit abstracts for the upcoming poster session showcasing research in therapeutic discovery and development for human diseases. This is an excellent opportunity to share your work, engage with peers, and contribute to the growing body of research on innovative approaches in drug discovery and immunotherapy.
Deadline: March 25, 2026 by 11:59 p.m.
Submission Guidelines
- Eligibility: Participation is open to all faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates from UH and other Texas Medical Center institutions. Please note that only the postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate students are eligible to compete awards.
- Abstract Length: Up to 300 words (no references required).
- Topics of Interest: Research related to discovering and developing new therapeutics for human diseases, including but not limited to:
- Drug discovery and development
- Immunotherapy and targeted therapies
- Biomolecular and cellular approaches to disease treatment
- Translational research in therapeutics
- Novel technologies in pharmaceutical sciences

Participation: Presenters are expected to be available at their posters to discuss their research during the session.
