Identifying therapeutic targets to treat inflammatory bowel disease. The funded grant includes pre-clinical testing of drugs that can be used to prevent or treat Crohn’s disease. Additionally, Dr. Khurana has grant submitted which proposes to test drugs that inhibit the function of the actin-binding protein fascin to target colorectal carcinomas with high Wnt activation.
