Richard Willson
CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Professor

Research Interest

Biomolecular recognition, and its applications in separations and molecular diagnostics. Involved in drug manufacturing, especially monoclonal antibodies. We do some engineering of CAR T cells with the help of Navin Varadarajan. Some of the assay methods are relevant to therapeutic drug monitoring.

Endowed Professorship
Richard Willson is the Huffington-Woestemeyer Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Houston.
