I have a broad background in medicine, neurology, pharmacology and pharmaceutical science with specific training and expertise in brain drug delivery. My research focuses on elucidating the role of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in neural injury and neurodegeneration. My research goal is to find new target at the BBB and develop effective approaches by targeting the BBB for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s disease, ischemic stroke.
