
Annual Symposium
The DDI Annual Symposium is a full-day event highlighting advancements in drug discovery and immunotherapy. Hosted by the UH Drug Discovery Institute, this event will bring together leading researchers, industry experts, and new faculty to showcase innovative research and foster collaboration in biomedical science.
2025 Annual Symposium
The day will begin with a keynote presentation by Dr. Yang Liu, Chairman, CEO, and CSO at OncoC4, Inc., followed by research presentations from UH faculty, sharing novel insights into cancer immunotherapy, targeted drug development, and immune system modulation. In addition, UH core directors/managers will introduce a variety of institutional resources available for drug discovery research.
An interactive poster session will provide opportunities for networking and in-depth discussions. In the afternoon, attendees will learn about UH's research core facilities and the resources available to support their work. The symposium concludes with presentations from DDI-funded scholars, highlighting pilot projects in muscle engineering, machine learning for drug discovery, and cancer immunotherapy.
The event will close with a networking reception, offering attendees the chance to engage with colleagues and explore future collaborations.
